Here’s how to create Kelly Ripa’s layered look.
HOT TIP: Subtle layers work on all sorts of cuts—adding volume and movement while framing and flattering the face.
THE Cut: Shoulder length, with subtle layers and angled in front, with graduated ends for movement.
WHY IT WORKS: Kelly’s medium-coarse hair is prone to falling flat. The angled pieces and graduated ends help boost volume.
STYLING TIPS: Kelly’s stylist, Oscar Blandi, starts by blow-drying the ends of her hair with cool air. “Heat can cause colored or chemically processed hair to frizz,” he says. When the hair is mostly dry, he turns on the heat and uses a round, metal brush to style her hair straight. For curly looks Blandi relies on the Babyliss Pro Professional ceramic curling iron, which has a one-inch barrel.

It’s too many hair clips and a sloppy ponytail for Paris as she and her brother Conrad Hughes Hilton take their dad out and celebrate Father’s day at Mr. Chows restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Her hair features a deep side part with side swept bangs with the rest of her hair loosely pulled back and twisted into a low chignon. This is the perfect look for the occasion and Kelly couldn’t look prettier. She’s definitely got a spot on our Best Tressed list.
