Soap Look of the Week: Megan Ward
Our featured soap star of the week is Megan Ward whose haircut helps to make her a standout in her role as Kate Howard on General Hospital.
Megan Ward’s cut is a bob that’s angled and layered at the front. This gives the illusion of a faux fringe. To achieve this look, use a round brush and blow dry hair smoothly.
Megan, has had every possible haircut, she’s been blonde, red, short and long. She went to her hairdresser and asked for an easy to care for cut after the birth of her daughter Audrey and he came up with this edgy bob for her. Megan states about her cut, “I love this hairstyle. It’s easy to maintain. I can wash and go. When they style it for the show sometimes they curl it. Sometimes they blow it out. The great thing about the style is that you (do nothing) and it still looks put together.”
According to Megan’s hairstylist everyone wants to know about her haircut. And they ask him constantly about her look. Megan is as excited about being a trendsetter as she is about her General Hospital role.
LOVE Megan Ward and her look. She looks different every day you see her. I definitely prefer her without the bangs but she is gorgeous so it really doesn’t matter how she wears it. She has a terrific natural look. I wish I could have her hair - love it!
